Job Overview
Software Tester are responsible for the quality of software development and deployment. They are involved in performing automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose. Some of the duties include analysis of software, and systems, mitigate risk and prevent software issues.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
Executing tests on software usability.
Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.
Interacting with clients to understand product requirements.
Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
Help troubleshoot issues.
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
Proven experienced as Software Tester or Quality Assurance or similar roles.
Experienced in software programs which are Postman, Soap and Query SQL.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success.
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
Team player and attention to details.
Good time-management skills and willing to learn the new things.
