Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (in IT Business is preferable) to be based in Myanmar, playing a pivotal role in driving business growth and market expansion. Fluency in English, and Myanmar languages and Thai language communication skill is plus are necessary requirement for effective communication among our Thai and Myanmar colleagues, and our valued Customers.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Develop and execute business development strategies with its competitive landscape to achieve sales targets and expand the new market in Myanmar.
Pursue business opportunities and revenue generation while establishing and maintaining strong relationships with potential and existing customers, business partners, and stakeholders in Myanmar.
Record the sales, revenue forecast, and prospect list to the management team regularly as well as perform other related duties assigned.
Collaboratively work and update from time to time with the management and Thailand team on the potential market, requirements, business proposals, costing and pricing, and proposed solutions to the customers.
Arrange business meetings, prepare and propose solution presentations, business models, quotations, negotiation strategies to close the deal, and contracts to the customers.
Cross-functional collaboration with design operation, software development, hardware development, customer service operation teams, and other related teams to those solutions proposed and sold to customers.
Stay updated by attending conferences, meetings, and industry seminars to find out best practices, partner community and connections, trends, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Job Qualifications
Myanmar citizenship or legal right to work in Myanmar.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related fields.
Experienced in fields of Business Development and IT Product Development for at least 5 years. (Banking & Retails are preferable)
Outstanding analytical skills, positioning, business justification, and closing skills.
Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably in Myanmar.
Fluent in Myanmar, English, and Thai, both spoken and written.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at various levels.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and networking abilities.
Ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of the Myanmar market and business culture.
Proficient in MacOS, Numbers, Keynotes, Pages, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Acrobat Adobe Reader.
Based in Yangon but willing to work around any provinces in Myanmar as required.
Traveling overseas (Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam) is essential for this position.
Ability to work through specific online channels and work from home.
